Global Index International, a Brazil-based advisory group, has reportedly created its own internet platform to enable clients track the progress of their investments.

The new platform, called Globex System, was developed last year by the company’s in-house information technology team, headed by Mariana Kujawski, according to International Adviser.

The platform makes use of data and investment products supplied to the company by one of its main providers of investment products, Friends Provident International, and other sources, Global Index founder and managing director John Fleming was quoted as saying by the publication.

Fleming added that the platform enables clients to clearly see "the performance of their investments, net of any withdrawals, the cumulative performance of the funds they’ve chosen, graphs that reveal the performance of their funds and their chosen investment plan, and even the behaviour of four benchmark indexes of their choice over the past five years."

The company has no plans to market the new system to other advisory firms, or to offer it to a life company.
