Dupuy has joined IRE from BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Services, where he spent the past five years as managing director. Prior to this, he has spent nine years with AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.

Andy Rofe, managing director of IRE, said: "He brings over 17 years’ accomplished strategic real estate experience from across all disciplines, focused on generating performance for clients. His extensive knowledge of the pan-European real estate markets has been gained through a number of different market cycles and at high profile real estate firms, so we are delighted to have someone of his calibre join our team."

Dupuy said: "I am therefore thrilled to have the opportunity to work for an independent investment manager who has an impressive portfolio of varied assets and is exceedingly active in the pan-European marketplace, given that IRE has transacted and is in advanced due diligence on over €1bn of deals in 2014 already."
