Davy Private Clients has named former managing director of Brewin Dolphin group Henry Algeo as a new member to its business advisory board.
Algeo will join the wealth management and financial planning division of Ireland’s J&E Davy in addition to supporting the business in its future growth in the UK.

At Davy Private Clients, Algeo will join a board currently occupied with internal directors including Stephen Felle, Brian McKiernan and Pat Cooney.
Prior to joining Davy, Algeo has worked for eight years at Brewin Dolphin, where he served various roles including chief operating officer and head of the firm’s Belfast office. Prior to this, he held board level and senior management roles with a number of UK stockbroking firms.
Stephen Felle, the Davy director in charge of the firm’s Private Client offices in Northern Ireland and Britain, said: "Following the recent acquisition of Square Seven Financial Planning in Belfast, and with near-term ambitions to build Davy Private Clients in Northern Ireland and Britain, someone of Henry’s calibre and insight will be a valuable asset in helping us pursue this growth strategy."
