Tremblant Capital Group, a New York-based asset management firm, has appointed Daniel Waters as its new partner and co-president. 

Waters will be responsible for directly managing the firm’s client activities in this newly created role, and will join the firm’s management & investment/risk committees.

Waters previously served as co-CEO and partner at alternative asset manager FrontPoint Partners. 

Prior to that, he served as a managing director at Morgan Stanley. He held several senior roles at this bank including head of US institutional and absolute return strategies distribution and co-head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's global portfolio solutions group.  He also led the development of Morgan Stanley's wealth management services business.
