Raymond James Financial has lured a team of two financial advisers from UBS Financial Services that managed over US$227 million in client assets.
The team, which includes Gene Marx and Catherine Hunter, will join the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina branch and will operate as Marx Wealth Management of Raymond James.

UBS said that the team previously had annual production in fees and commission of US$1.9 million.
Marx with 23 years of experience in the financial services industry has joined UBS from Smith Barney, while Hunter with 17 years of experience in the industry, has also previously worked at Smith Barney as a registered marketing associate.
