Manulife Asset Management has appointed Michael Evans as managing director and portfolio specialist for US equity teams.
Based in Boston, Evans will report to Jeffrey Santerre, senior managing director and global head of the portfolio specialist team.

Evans has spent ten years at Evercore Asset Management as a senior equity research analyst focusing on small- and mid-cap core investment portfolios for institutional clients.
Prior to that, he worked for Gray Capital Management as a fixed income analyst/assistant portfolio manager.
