German banking giant Deutsche Bank has almost doubled the pay for its co-chief executives Juergen Fitschen and Anshu Jain in 2013.

Jain’s pay has been raised by more than half to approximately €9 million, while Fitschen’s pay has been increased to €8 million.

Deutsche Bank also revealed that it paid 38% more to its management board in 2013.

The bank its annual report also said that it intends to shift some of its fixed income operations from Europe to the US, in order to benefit from the faster economic growth in the region.
