Fiera Capital, a Canada-based investment management firm, has unveiled Fiera Private Infrastructure Fund to provide investors access to investments in core infrastructure assets.
Fiera Capital said that the fund seeks generate long-term returns from cash yield and capital appreciation besides offering accredited investors with increased portfolio diversification.

In addition, the fund will generate stable and predictable cash flows providing high single-digit return per annum over five-year moving periods.
According to Fiera Capital, the fund plans to invest a significant portion of the its assets directly or indirectly in certain funds operated by Fiera Axium Infrastructure and its wholly owned subsidiary Fiera Axium Infrastructure US.
François Bourdon, chief investment solutions officer at Fiera, said: "Broadening Fiera Capital’s infrastructure offering further reinforces our presence in the realm of non-traditional investment solutions.
"We feel strongly that a wider group of investors from the retail channel should have access to and invest in infrastructure projects backed by creditworthy counterparties, opportunities which are typically limited to institutional investors," he added.
