Brown Shipley has announced the appointment of Douglas Noble, Neil Mitchell and Gair Brisbane to its Edinburgh office.

The team, who were formerly at Barclays Wealth, will focus on growing Brown Shipley’s client base in Scotland and augment Brown Shipley’s wealth management and private banking offering.

Douglas Noble, Neil Mitchell and Gair Brisbane bring extensive wealth management experience having worked across the banking sector in Scotland. Douglas Noble is one of Scotland’s best-known names in wealth management with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, gained at Bank of Scotland, Adam & Co and most recently Barclays Wealth.

The three appointments will further strengthen Brown Shipley’s private banking and investment services in its rapidly expanding Edinburgh office which has made five senior hires since September 2013
