AMP Capital has unveiled a new Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS platform that offers UCITS versions of its global listed infrastructure and global real estate securities funds to UK and European institutional investors.

The UCITS platform will allow fund managers to easily distribute their products across Europe and Asia to offshore investors.

Additionally, the new UCITS platform has been launched with US$156 million in assets under management that will be divided equally among the two strategies.

AMP Capital said that the UCITS-compliant funds will follow similar investment approach and strategy as AMP Capital’s existing listed infrastructure and real estate funds.

The firm’s infrastructure and real estate funds will offer investors with access to a global portfolio of securities across regions and sectors. They have been added to the UCITS platform following an increasing demand from global institutional clients.

As of 31 March 2014, the infrastructure fund has US$897 million in funds under management, while the real estate fund has US$5.9 billion in funds under management.
