Henderson Global Investors has appointed Steve Drew as head of emerging market credit team.
Drew will join the £17.3 billion fixed income team managed by Henderson global head of credit Stephen Thariyan and fixed income head Phil Apel.

In his new role, Drew will be responsible for expanding the emerging market credit team with assistance from Thariyan and Apel.
Most recently, Drew served as head of global and emerging credit at Thames River Capital. Previously, he also held roles at JP Morgan and Tudor Capital.
Commenting on the appointment, Thariyan said: "Drew’s understanding of the emerging market credit sector, together with his impressive track record with client money and proven ability to help raise assets, will be hugely beneficial as we focus on expanding the scale of our fixed income franchise globally."
