BNY Mellon has added Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s (GSAM) two new products on its separately managed accounts (SMA) platform, Spectrum.
The addition of the two new products – the GSAM Asian real estate securities strategy and the GSAM China offshore equity strategy, is aimed at expanding strategic options to high-net-worth (HNW) Asian investors.

BNY Mellon Asia-Pacific SMA business president and CEO AJ Harper said that GSAM’s Asian strategies are locally managed and based on strong on-the-ground research capabilities, theasset.com has reported.
"They complement our offerings on Spectrum as our aim is to select and offer strategies that are suited to the needs of high net worth individuals in Asia," added Harper.
Managed by teams in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Melbourne, real estate securities strategy is designed for real estate investment trusts and real estate securities of Asia-Pacific companies, while, China offshore equity strategy will be managed Hong Kong and Shanghai teams and invests in companies with material exposure to the growth of China.
With GSAM Asia on-board, Spectrum offering has increased to over 20 strategies from 10 leading global asset managers that also include BlackRock Investment Management, BNY Mellon Asset Management Japan, Capital International, CenterSquare Investment Management, and Henderson Global Investors.
