Available to individual investors, the Fund aims to provide investors with returns similar to those associated with traditional high-yield strategies, but with less volatility. The Fund will invest in a diversified portfolio of income-generating securities throughout a company’s capital structure, while having the flexibility to hedge credit and interest-rate risk.
"With the bond market reaching an important inflection point, active fixed income solutions will become critical to producing returns and preserving capital for investors moving forward," stated Jason Marks, Executive Chairman of Fiera Quantum. "As such, the launch of this Fund is quite timely, providing investors with the opportunity to enhance the diversification of their investments and improve the risk-return profile of their portfolios."
Seasoned High-Yield Credit Trading Team
The Fund will be co-managed by Angus Rogers, who joins Fiera Quantum with 25 years’ experience in both U.S. and Canadian high-yield securities as well as in a variety of other fixed income products. Prior to his appointment at Fiera Quantum, Mr. Rogers spent 14 years in New York where he was a managing director at RBC Capital Markets, and most recently head of High-Yield Trading and co-head of the Leverage Finance Department at Jefferies Group LLC.
