Aberdeen Asset Management has named Korawut Leenabanchong as new chief executive officer for Thailand, effective 1 July 2014.
In his new role, Leenabanchong will be responsible for shaping the company’s strategy, with a focus on new business development.

Leenabanchong will report to Ian Macdonald, director in Singapore and will work closely with Adithep Vanabriksha, chief investment officer, and other functional heads.
Leenabanchong has joined Aberdeen from UOB Asset Management in Thailand where for served as chief investment officer. Prior to this, he has held roles at Tisco Asset Management and Dresdner Kleinwort in Bangkok.
