JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has named Maria Ryan as new EMEA head of Fixed Income Strategies.

Ryan will oversee a team of client portfolio managers servicing fixed income relationships across the region.

Ryan will also offer specialist investment knowledge to clients and to ensure client investment needs are continuously met across the fixed income platform.

Ryan will report to global head of market strategies for fixed income and liquidity Meg McClellan.

Ryan has joined JP Morgan AM in 2013 as a client adviser with the UK Institutional team. Prior to joining JP Morgan, she worked at Wellington Management as associate director of fixed income.

Previously she also served as managing director in BlackRock’s fixed income team and she was also investment director at Henderson Global Investors.

Additionally, JP Morgan has also hired Zsolt Papp as global head of emerging market debt client portfolio strategies, also reporting to Ryan.

Papp has joined JPMAM from Union Bancaire Privee, where he served as senior product specialist for emerging market debt. He has also held roles at as an emerging market economist or strategist at a number of banks, including ABN AMRO and UBS.
