RBC Wealth Management has named Ann Marie Vibert as new head of offshore private client wealth management replacing Tim Houghton.

Based in Jersey, Vibert will report to Chris Blampied, head of banking, British Isles and Caribbean, RBC Wealth Management.

In her new role, Vibert will be responsible for driving and ensuring the continuing success of the private client wealth management (offshore) and British Isles banking teams.

Additionally, she will provide strategic direction for the management of distribution and banking activities offered by the teams, located in Jersey, Guernsey, London and Dubai.

Meantime, Houghton will become RBC Wealth Management head of business development British Isles and Caribbean.

Vibert has joined RBC Wealth from Standard Chartered Private Bank in Jersey where she worked as executive director and deputy to the head of private banking. Prior to this, she served as head of client infrastructure, and head of client service at the bank.
