V Ganapathy Subramanian, the former strategy head of Indian IT major Infosys, has been hired to manage the family office of Infosys co-founder and CEO SD Shibulal, according to Business Standard publication.
Called Innovations Investment Management India, the family office owns over 700 apartments in Seattle and Bellevue in the Northwest Pacific coast of the US.

Subramanian, who joined Infosys in 2005, confirmed his resignation to Business Standard but declined to comment on future plans.
According to local media reports, the family office manages around INR65 billion (US$1.08 billion) through various assets, including SD Shibulal’s family’s holdings in Infosys.
It also runs a 56-room luxury resort in Coorg, Karnataka, called The Tamara.
Reports also suggest that the family office is already testing the waters in Europe. Last year, it acquired a couple of residential apartment buildings in Germany — one each in Berlin and Frankfurt.
