Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has named Deepak Khanna as new head of US large cap value equities, effective 16 July 2014.

Based in New York, Khanna will report to Owen Fitzpatrick, head of US equity.

In his new role, Khanna will be responsible for managing investment strategies focused on US large cap value stocks.

Khanna has joined DeAWM from Lord, Abbett & Co., where he was a portfolio manager of large cap value and multi cap value strategies.

Additionally, DeAWM has hired Matthew Coombe and Patrick Menerey as new private bankers.

Based in Los Angeles, the duo will report to Michael Davis, a managing director and the head of the US Private Bank for the West Coast region.

At the same time, DeAWM has appointed J J Wilczewski as new co-head of the Global Client Group for the Americas to focus on institutional investors, and the firm’s co-CIO Randy Brown as new country head UK.

In his new role, Brown will report to Michele Faissola, head of DeAWM, and will serve on DeAWM’s global executive committee.

Furthermore, Asoka Wöhrmann has been appointed as new chief investment officer, where he will be responsible for managing DeAWM’s investment activities and teams globally across equity, fixed income and multi-asset strategies.
