Henderson Global Investors Australia has unveiled a new flagship fund called the Henderson Global Fixed Interest Total Return Fund.
The new fund will be run by Phil Apel, head of Henderson Global Investors fixed income investment strategy group, according to Financial Standard.

The total return fund will allow investors to navigate across fixed interest markets with the capability to take views on interest rates, credit and loans besides seeking to protect client capital.
The fund will adopt a comprehensive investment process that includes top-down asset allocation supported by Henderson’s investment strategy group that consists of a team of seven senior fixed interest specialists, which leverages a total of 58 fixed interest experts in a bottom-up, best ideas approach to security selection.
