Britain’s Financial Ombudsman Service has named Caroline Wayman as its new chief executive and chief ombudsman, replacing Natalie Ceeney.
Wayman, who joined Ombudsman in 2000, is currently the principal ombudsman and legal director of the FOS.

Previously, she worked as an adjudicator at the Insurance Ombudsman Bureau and is a barrister by training.
Tony Boorman has been acting as interim CEO and chief ombudsman since Ceeney left in November last year after four years in the role.
Sir Nicholas Montagu, chairman of the Financial Ombudsman Service, said: "As chief ombudsman she will ensure the service stays relevant and attuned to the needs of our customers – consumers and businesses."
Caroline Wayman said: "The ombudsman has evolved beyond recognition since I first joined over a decade ago. And it will change just as much again in the future, to reflect the changing world around us."
