Amundi Sgr has named Vincenzo Sagone as new co-head of ETF business unit in Italy.

In his new role, Sagone will be responsible for boosting the distribution of ETFs and indexed funds to Italian clients.

Sagone will report to Gabriele Tavazzani, general co-director and head of Marketing at Amundi Sgr.

In addition, he will work alongside Antonio Volpe, who was already head of the asset manager’s ETF division.

Prior to joining Amundi Sgr, Sagone worked at Crédit Agricole since 2010, where he launched Amundi ETF in Italy for Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux Italia.

Prior to this, he worked on securities derivatives at Abaxbank, Intesa Sanpaolo’s Banca IMI, where he managed market making activities for the ETF segment and as financial engineer at UniCredit.
