In a move to expand its retail and institutional business, Henderson Global Investors has named John Harrison as new director on its multi-asset team.
In his new role, Harrison will be responsible for representing the multi-asset team in retail and institutional channels and expanding the existing business and broadening it geographically.

Harrison will take over his new role later this month.
Harrison joined Henderson from AllenbridgeEpic, where he advised four government pension schemes totaling £8 billion. Prior to this, he worked for 16 years at UBS as chief investment officer and head of UK institutional advisory solutions.
Bill McQuaker, co-head of multi-asset, said: "John’s blend of investment and client management skills is a great addition to the team. In addition to the wealth of investment experience he has built during his career, this will be of enormous benefit to us."
As of 30 April 2014, Henderson’s multi-asset team manages a total of £6.3 billion in assets.
