QuantX Management, a US-based multi-manager asset management platform, has expanded its investment and operational team by appointing two new hedge fund veterans.
Alexander Masotti will join the firm as president and chief operating officer, while Robert Parauda as chief investment officer.

Masotti joined QuantX from Park City Capital, where he served as chief operating officer. Previously, he also worked at a European based quantitative hedge fund and at Copper River Management.
Parauda joined QuantX from Lanx Management, where he served as a managing director and portfolio Manager responsible for portfolio construction, research, due diligence and risk management. Prior to this, he worked as global head of equity at Deutsche Bank’s DB absolute return strategies.
