Australia-based Perpetual Investments has named George Moromalos as new head of research and consultant relationships, effective 22 September 2014.
In his new role, Moromalos will work closely with research houses to manage Perpetual Investments’ fund ratings.

In addition, he will also work with asset consultants on the inclusion of Perpetual Investments’ funds in their model and implemented portfolios.
Moromalos joined Perpetual from State Street Global Advisors, where he served as vice president, manager business development. Previously, Moromalos worked as a financial planner before moving into product management with Credit Suisse in 2003 and then into institutional distribution in 2006.
Dean Winterton, general manager distribution, Perpetual Investments, said Moromalos will add to the strength of Perpetual Investments’ offering in this area.
