The mandate will be managed by Loomis Sayles portfolio managers Lynne Royer and Bill Stevens.
The mandate was granted after an extensive due diligence process by the JANA portfolio management and manager research teams.
Karyn West managing director of Apostle said: "The relative value investment style seeks consistent alpha over a client’s preferred benchmark. Co-managers Lynda Schweitzer and Scott Service add their considerable expertise in international markets to the investment process."
Lynne Royer said: "This strategy may be well-suited for multi-manager portfolios as it seeks alpha from security selection and has limited macro elements. This type of investment leverages Loomis’ greatest strength – research that is broad and deep, especially in credit."
