UK-based wealth manager, Rowan Dartington has named John Betteridge as new chairman of its asset allocation committee.
In addition, Betteridge will also take over the role of non-executive director at the firm.

Betteridge joined Rowan Dartington from Prudential UK’s insurance division, where he served as chief investment officer, managing assets worth more than £150 billion.
Betteridge also controlled investment strategy and monitoring across Prudential’s with-profit, annuity, unit-linked and collective schemes. He also managed the Prudential’s PMG investment management business leading a team of economists, portfolio managers, quantitative analysts and actuaries.
