Swiss private bank Julius Baer has hired Yvan Wicht as its group head for the Middle East & Africa, working out of Geneva.

Wicht will report to Regis Burger, sub-region head of Middle East & Africa. In his new role, Wicht will also be a member of the Middle East & Africa management committee and lead the Middle East & Africa teams in Geneva.

He has worked at Deutsche Bank since 2011, holding a number of leadership roles, the last being global head wealth investment advisory Middle East & Africa. As a result, Wicht comes with 18 years of experience in the region.
